Comments: Just had my four/five year follow-up!! Five yrs for my bilateral hip replacements, and four yrs for bilateral knee replacements. Dr. van Flandern is not only an excellent surgeon, but also a compassionate, caring one. Yes, I have had to wait for my appt, but I have never felt rushed during my appts. He would tell me when he would not be coming to the hospital, but he would never fail to call to ask how I was coming along. My questions were always answered thoroughly!
